59 dead and 153 wounded in one of the most violent days in Iraq


At least 59 people have died on Monday and 153 wounded in the bloodiest day in Iraq , punctuated by car bombings,attacks, shootings and ambushes throughout the country, according to provisional accounts offered by the Ministry of Interior. The attack most serious occurred in the city of Kut , about 100 kilometers southeast of Baghdad, where the explosion of a bomb and a car bomb in a popular market caused the deaths of 33 people and wounding 52 , police said.
on the other hand, at least three policemen were killed and another ten were injured in an attack by two suicide bomber swearing explosives belts strapped to the body near the department counter-terrorism at the heart of the city ofTikrit, the provincial capital of Salahedin, north of Baghdad.
