Aung San Suu Kyi first political trip


The main Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, put on trial the new freedoms in their country with their first trip for political gain in eight years after the military regime hand over the power to civilians (almost all former military ) last March.
The Nobel Peace Suu Kyi, 66, has chosen a simple program and symbolic for both the provisions of the new authorities and containing its displacement in Yangon to Bago, about 80 miles north, to open a bookstore and participate a forum for young people.
Some 200 fans waited in a pagoda in Bago to receive thelady , as called by many Burmese, who appeared as alwaysescorted by members of the outlawed party , the National League for Democracy (NLD), accompanied by diplomats and journalists, according to the dissident radio Democratic Voice of Burma. Agents plainclothes police mingled with the crowd.
