A compound attack the ‘Achilles heel’ of cancer cells


Fortunately, the cancer also has its Achilles heel. Investigators are looking for a thousand and one ways to curb cancer cells. Scientists at the Stanford University School of Medicine have found a way to deprive them of food, if glucose .
In addition, they have done precisely by attacking their weak points. Receiving chemotherapy can be a painful experience, especially because most of these drugs do not distinguish between cancer cells and healthy ones. The chemicals attack all rapidly dividing cells from cancer cells into cells that produce blood or hair.
