U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Colin Campbell: China has an aircraft carrier in fact “not unusual.”


U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Colin Campbell to accept the Australian Broadcasting Corporation interview that the Chinese built aircraft carrier is indeed a "great thing", but "we also need to remember that the United States and other countries have aircraft carriers for decades." Campbell does not deny that China's enhanced military power the United States and countries in the region will bring new challenges, but he stressed that the conflict is not good for any country, while China and the U.S. believe there is enough wisdom to avoid conflict and peaceful coexistence.
