The second largest train manufacturer in China to recall the 54 trains used on the runway at full speed between Beijing to Shanghai for safety reasons, the firm said yesterday, the latest blow to the country's rail system hit by various scandals.
Recall train CRH380BL series was made to three weeks after 40 people were killed in a high-speed rail crash, which triggered public outrage, critical coverage of local media and the freezing of projects approved a new rail service.
